Recently my employer, (Shealy and Sons Electrical in Columbia, S.C.) purchased one of your band-saws. It was a godsend for me personally. Let me explain. I am a 52 year-old electrician. In 1998, a VAV HVAC box fell on me and knocked me off a 12' ladder and shattered my right arm around the elbow. I required extensive surgery, including placement of a 5" metal screw in my lower arm to repair it. In 2004, after coming into contact with a 277 volt circuit again while on a ladder, I was blown off the ladder and shattered both my wrists. The repair of my right wrist (punch die fracture) required harvesting bone off my previously broken right elbow area and refusing it into my wrist. On cold damp mornings, I dread sawing pipe all day, which is required on most commercial electrical jobs. Your new saw has taken a lot of agony out of my life. I had thought about trying to find a new, probably less paying, line of work until I could retire because of my problems with previous injuries. Your saw is helping me a lot. I am probably going to buy one for myself as soon as I save up. Word has gotten around about your saw and most guys want to share it out now. Please keep up your research on ergonomically helpful tools. It means a lot to us in the field when something like this comes along.
